'Let the music...begin!'

Last weekend, I went on a little excursion to the O2 to see The X factor Tour, courtesy of six tokens I collected in the Sun newspaper.

Generally, people hype and debate about the contestants during the series, become Team Simon, follow the acts of twitter. Then six months down the line...zilch. We forget who won, what single they released and completely forget the others until they release a début single which makes you go, 'Oh yeah...I forgot about him.' E.g. Joe McElderry.

But! To be fair, the One Direction fanbase is still continuing, everyone still mentions Cher Lloyd's eyebrows and Aiden Grimshaw is constanly trending on twitter to get him signed. So this year is quite a win for the X Factor this year. But, as per usual, the winner doesn't always end up doing the best, hay?

The tour was alot better than I thought it would be. I even think ive caught the most minscule amount of One-Direction infection even if they did sing the most cheesiest song choices ever!

To be honest, as much dig as she gets, Cher was the best. She is due to release a single soon which I will probably buy because I am expecting great things. I reckon she'll to a lot of Ft.'s for artists in the future.

If I went on from here Ill just be repeating myself from a few months ago when the contest was still running, and yes they are just as good live as they were on television, and there was no miming at all *Justin Bieber* COUGH!

Of course, It brought along some amazing photography opportunities as we were on level one directly infront of the centre stage. As soon as Cher Lloyd jumped off that thing I legged it down the stairs and got told off. Oops.

Any-ways. Its been a bit of a boring blog so lets end it on a bright note with some amazingly close pictures I got of the tour....

'Moo to you too!'

The other weekend, The Wanted boys ♥ did a gig at tower bridge to advertise for their milk campaign - 'Make Mine Milk'. Fans waited and
waited, screamed, cried, jumped, and had painted on milk moustaches....

Who has seen this on the bus?

After the pacing of Jayne and the flip and all the other crew moving around and making the crowd endlessley scream every time the music stopped playing. The boys came onto the scene, starting with Nathan James Sykes.

Jay:'If any of you have lactose intolerance,
the snipers are out there to get you!'
Nathan : ':O'
Set List: Heart Vacancy, Lose My Mind, Behind Bars and Replace Your Heart (sorry if there are errors, Im sure there was another...let me know)

As always, another great performance. Everyone sent out hand hearts, jumped to the music and religiously swayed their hands in the air for 'Heart Vacancy'

There was a 'Milk Downing' contest too. Nathan cheated, which was quite funny and Jay has a record time!

As always, the boys sense of humour gets everyone except an unexpected comment Jay made....

THE WANTED

(Not the best pictures - will add more in a separate post... wasn't trusted taking the proper one -__-)

'Shakira! Shakira!'

Im so sorry for the neglect guys!

Today its Shakira's Birthday! So heres the blog of her concert (Just a short one)...

New band for 2011 : Parade
Debut Single: Louder
I have heard and tweeted Shakira's support group, Parade. I love their music and style! They will definitely be in the fashion magazines in 2011! There's no doubt that their debut single, 'Louder' will be a chart topper...

Look out for them this year! They will be mentioned soon...

After an anticipated wait, Shakira made her entrance. She walked through the standing crowd, singing her opening song. It was amazing, such a brave and unexpected thing to do...

Shakira after her dramatic entrance!

After completing her gentle-Spanish melody in a pink, gypsy style wedding dress, Shakira got the real-deal going...

She ripped off her Gypsy dress and released her inner rock-chick. Unfortunately, I am unsure of the song names, but she sure got the crowd going....

Shakira and Fans

Shakira had many surprises in-store. She invited some fans onto the stage to dance with her....Jealous! Who wouldn't be?

I didn't stay for the whole duration due to an emergency. However, Shakira is an amazing vocalist, she's so diverse to other artists today she stands out with a significant talent. No wonder she's a big, international star....

2011: It may not be my week but it's going to be my year♥

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hope you had a great Christmas everyone! And a great new-year too! (I was stuck inside as usual...)

I got my camera, and my '11 things to do in 2011' list, -

  • Try a peanut butter and 'jelly' sandwich. (Those things American's rave about on TV).
  • Meet a celebrity. (Hopefully! I am starstruck! Magazines and twitter - I have it all!)
  • Complete a photography project (Me and my camera and some creativity).
  • Meet someone new. (My social life is on the brink of death).
  • Visit a tourist site. (London is a big and partially unexplored place...)
  • Do a canvas painting. (Theres a blank one infront of me, and has been for months. Art, my favourite subject)
  • Watch the Sex and the City films. (I've always wanted to watch them).
  • Play a game of scrabble. (Loads of people talk about it, and I have never played it).
  • Give up Facebook for a whole week. (Dont get it, life killer).
  • Get a A* in something. (I love the sense of achievement)
  • Go to the imax cinema. (Never been)
I will blog about each completed item!

Hopefully this year will be 'The Year' for me! Of course I still owe you a Shakira blog? Sorry Guys! I will do is ASAP!
